Privacy Consent & Data Protection Declaration
International FutureX Fellowship — Student Admission
This Declaration is executed pursuant to the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), the IT Act, 2000, and the SPDI Rules, 2011. It governs how Lyfshilp Academy Pvt. Ltd. & Agility AI Pvt. Ltd. ("Data Fiduciary") collect, process, and protect personal data in connection with the International FutureX Fellowship programme.
Consent is obtained differently based on the student's age at enrolment:
▸ Students under 18 years of age: All legal consent is granted exclusively by the parent or legal guardian, as mandated by Section 9, DPDP Act 2023. The student cannot independently consent.
▸ Students who are 18 years or older at enrolment: The student is a legal adult and grants consent directly on their own behalf. Parental consent is not required by law, though the parent/guardian may be copied for awareness.
Items marked ★ are mandatory — withholding these may affect enrolment. All other items are optional (opt-in). By submitting the admission form, the consenting party confirms they have read this page in full.
How Consent Is Collected
This policy is hosted on our website and linked directly from the admission form. By submitting the admission form, the consenting party (parent/guardian for minors; student for adults) confirms they have read and agree to this Declaration in full. Consent is recorded digitally via the form submission, and constitutes valid, verifiable consent under the DPDP Act 2023. No physical signature is required for digital submissions, though a signed copy may be requested for programme records.

A. Parent / Guardian Consent — Students Under 18 Years
Pursuant to Section 9 of the DPDP Act, 2023, parental or guardian consent is mandatory for the processing of personal data of any student who is a minor (under 18 years of age). The following consents are granted by the parent or legal guardian on the student's behalf. The student cannot independently grant these consents.
Legal authority: I am the lawful parent/guardian of the student. I have legal capacity to grant consent on their behalf, and confirm it is freely given, informed, and without coercion. ★
Verifiable parental consent: I provide verifiable consent under Section 9, DPDP Act 2023, for the Data Fiduciary to process the student's personal data for all purposes stated in this Declaration. ★
Personal data: I consent to collection and processing of the student's personal information — name, age, date of birth, photograph, school, class, and contact details — for programme admission and administration. ★
Data security: I acknowledge that the student's data will be securely stored, not sold, and deleted within 3 years of programme end (or upon withdrawal of consent). ★
IP ownership: I confirm that all business ideas and intellectual property created by the student during the programme remain exclusively theirs. The Data Fiduciary claims no rights over the student's work. ★
No commercial transfer: I acknowledge the Data Fiduciary's binding undertaking that the student's data shall not be sold, rented, or commercially transferred to any third party. ★
Psychometric & assessment data: I consent to the student's psychometric assessments and acknowledge that results constitute Sensitive Personal Data under the SPDI Rules, 2011. Results will be shared with me and the Partner School as part of the Founder Performance Report. ★
Third-party sharing: I consent to the student's name and programme performance being shared with the Partner School (for certificates and records) and with mentors and faculty — strictly for educational purposes. ★
Fellows network: I consent to the student being inducted into the International FutureX Fellows Cohort on graduation, with their name and school visible to verified Fellows. Removal may be requested at any time. ★
Grievance & escalation: I acknowledge that privacy grievances submitted to service.excellence@lyfshilpacademy.com will be resolved within 14 working days, and may be escalated to the Data Protection Board of India if unresolved. ★
Consent withdrawal: I understand I may withdraw non-mandatory consents at any time in writing, without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
Anonymised venture data: I consent to the student's venture performance metrics being used anonymously in programme reports. The student's name or venture identity will not be disclosed without separate written consent.
Internship referral: I consent to the student being considered for partner startup internships. Their details will be shared only after my prior written confirmation in each instance.
Incubation, Funding & Pitch Disclosure: I consent to the student's venture name, concept summary, and programme journey being shared with judging panels, incubation partners, investor networks, and selection committees — solely in the context of pitch events, funding evaluations, or incubation consideration — where the student's venture has been shortlisted or selected. Such sharing shall be limited to venture-level information and shall not include the student's personal contact details, school name, or psychometric data without separate written consent in each instance.
Programme Outcome Marketing Consent: I consent to the Data Fiduciary using anonymised venture outcomes, programme milestones, and aggregated cohort achievements in marketing, investor decks, media communications, and promotional material. No student name, photograph, school identity, or personally identifiable information shall be used under this clause. Where a specific venture story is featured (e.g., "a student from one of our cohorts of 2026 raised seed funding"), the student and I will be separately approached for explicit, written, case-specific consent before any such publication.
Media consent (opt-in): I consent to the student's photographs and recordings being used in the Data Fiduciary's promotional content — first name only, no surname or school name — unless I separately authorise fuller identification in writing.
Media opt-out: Alternatively, I do NOT consent to any use of the student's image or name in marketing or promotional material. (To withhold media consent, select this option in the admission form.)
Peer Privacy Undertaking: I acknowledge that the student may, in the course of the Fellowship programme, have access to personal information, venture ideas, or communications of co-Fellows. I confirm that all such interaction will occur exclusively through channels facilitated by the Fellowship programme, and that the student will not independently contact, solicit, or engage with any co-Fellow outside of programme-sanctioned contexts, nor disclose, share, or misuse any co-Fellow's personal information, for any purpose not directly required by a mandatory Fellowship process.
B. Adult Student Consent — Students 18 Years or Older at Enrolment
Where the enrolled student is 18 years of age or older at the time of enrolment, they are a legal adult under Indian law and may grant consent directly on their own behalf. In this case, parental or guardian consent is not required by law. The following consents are given by the student personally. The Data Fiduciary will verify the student's age at enrolment; if any misrepresentation is found, the applicable minor-consent provisions shall govern instead.
Legal capacity: I confirm that I am 18 years of age or older as of my date of enrolment in this programme, and that I have full legal capacity to grant consent on my own behalf. ★
Personal data: I consent to collection and processing of my personal information — name, age, date of birth, photograph, school or institution, class or year, and contact details — for programme admission and administration. ★
Data security: I acknowledge that my data will be securely stored, not sold, and deleted within 3 years of programme end (or upon withdrawal of consent). ★
IP ownership: I confirm that all business ideas and intellectual property I create during the programme remain exclusively mine. The Data Fiduciary claims no rights over my work. ★
No commercial transfer: I acknowledge the Data Fiduciary's binding undertaking that my data shall not be sold, rented, or commercially transferred to any third party. ★

Fellows network: I consent to being inducted into the International FutureX Fellows Cohort on graduation, with my name and school or institution visible to verified Fellows. I may request removal at any time. ★
Rights acknowledgment: I am aware of my rights under the DPDP Act 2023 — to access, correct, erase, and withdraw consent — and may exercise them by writing to service.excellence@lyfshilpacademy.com. ★
Grievance & escalation: I acknowledge that privacy grievances submitted to service.excellence@lyfshilpacademy.com will be resolved within 14 working days, and may be escalated to the Data Protection Board of India if unresolved. ★
